Pineapple Halwa Recipe For Breakfast Or Dessert

I love desserts and none of my meals are completely satisfying without a sweet or halwa. Now picture a person like me married to a person who had no requirement of sweetness in her life. So I took it as a challenge to get her hooked on desserts and keep my meals complete (I know it is selfish😁).

11 years later, my wife now craves desserts more than me and we usually take a trip to the nearest sweet shop after dinner is cooked and ready to serve. Guess why? because now even she finds her meals completely satisfying with a sweet dish included. Pineapple halwa is one of those warrior dishes of mine that helped me hook her to desserts. My 8-year-old daughter is also hooked to it and we make it quite often at home.

So I am sharing with you my simple to make Pineapple halwa recipe which you can have for breakfast or after any meal or for snacking (If you are a big sweet lover like me 😂). Follow the recipe and comment about your experience with this delicacy. I have also included the video recipe below to help you at every stage. Alternatively, you could visit my Youtube Channel - Mardon Ki Rasoi for this Pineapple halwa recipe.

This recipe Serves 2-3 people, You can adjust according to the quantity you want to make.

Pineapple Halwa Recipe

Ingredients:

Rava (Semolina): 1 Cup Sugar: 1 Cup Ghee: 1/2 Cup Pineapple Crush: 1/2 Cup Milk: 1 Cup Water: 3 Cups Badam: 3-4 Chopped

Cooking Steps:

1. Heat Kadhai & Add Ghee 2. Once Ghee Is Hot, Reduce Flame To Medium & Fry Badam. Remove & Keep Aside 3. Reduce Flame To Low, Add Rava & Start Roasting 4. Meanwhile Mix Water, Milk In Another Utensil & Bring To A Boil 5. Once Rava Has Been Roasted To A Brown Tinge, Add The Boiling Water Milk & Start Stirring. Be Careful In This Step As The Halwa Would Be Splashing 6. Once Halwa Is Thick Enough & Leaves Kadhai, Add Sugar. Note: Let The Water Dry Out Before Adding Sugar, Otherwise Halwa Will Become Hard 7. Keep Stirring Until Sugar dissolves & Add Pineapple Crush. Keep Stirring 8. The Halwa Will Start To Thicken & Look Airy. Keep Stirring Until Dropping Consistency Is Reached. At This Stage, Halwa Would Leave Kadhai & Dance As You Stir. 9. Add Pineapple Slices, Switch Off the Flame & Mix For 2 More Minutes. 10. Cover For 5 Minutes Before Serving. Garnish With Fried Badam.

Important Tips:

* Roast Rava Until Nice Brown. Darker Rava Enhances Flavour Of Halwa * Water Milk Mixture Should Be Boiling Hot At The Time Of Adding * Do Not Skip Stirring. Continuous Stirring Brings Perfect Consistency * Dry Out Water Completely Before Adding Sugar. Any Leftover Water Will Form Syrup With Sugar & Harden Halwa. Refer Video For Consistency.
